THE AFC 2017 ANNUAL MEETING AND CONFERENCE

November 1-3, 2017 | INNISBROOK, PALM HARBOR, FL

EMPOWERING LEADERS... AND TRANSFORMING LIVES...

2017 AFC President LogoThe AFC 2017 Annual Meeting and Conference will be held at the Innisbrook, in Palm Harbor, Florida November 1-3, 2017. The Annual Conference is the celebratory event of the year for the Florida College System. It includes an exhibit hall, more than 30 diverse educational programs, informative membership and association-related meetings, exemplary practice presentations, recognition and awards, and excellent networking opportunities for members and friends of the Florida College System.

The Association of Florida Colleges celebrates the many voices of its members through its Advocacy, Leadership, and Innovation across the state. The 28 state and community colleges that comprise the Florida College System institutions serve more than 800,000 students annually. Today's challenge is to meet the growing needs of a diverse population with limited resources and a changing educational landscape. Performance funding, new accountability measures with a focus on retention and completion, and baccalaureate degrees are the bellwether issues for higher education professionals in the state.  How can the Florida College System continue to meet student and community needs while maintaining excellence, access, and student engagement during this critical time of transformation? Additionally, how can the AFC remain relevant while providing learning-centered professional development to its members? Join us at the 68th AFC Annual Meeting and Conference this November.
