Sponsorship and Exhibitor Opportunities

If you are looking for innovative ways to create awareness and visibility for your company, sponsorships are a great way to promote your brand! We offer many opportunities for sponsorships and exhibiting throughout the year. A sponsorship or exhibiting opportunity gives your company an edge over your competition as you will have the attention of a variety of members from the Florida College System. This exposure and association with AFC will increase our members' awareness of your business and in turn, increase your business opportunities throughout the state. Some of the perks of being a sponsor or exhibitor include complimentary registrations, advertisement spots on our website and in our publications, program listings, signage, verbal recognition and more.

AFC Campus Safety Symposium

2017 June 29-30, 2017 held at the College of Central Florida, Ocala, Fl.

Rooms available at the Hilton Ocala

The symposium will bring together experts from the broad spectrum of campus safety to address the current challenges facing our campuses statewide.  The symposium will focus on sharing best practices and resources to assure that every college in Florida has the necessary tools to implement effective and successful campus safety policies and practices.  Topics and concurrent sessions will include presentations and panels covering law enforcement practices, mental health, behavioral intervention, facilities, training, Title IX, FERPA, and student services.

The Association would like to extend an invitation to you to participate in a wonderful opportunity to market your goods and services for one and a half days to the 150+ college personnel who represent a portion of the 7,000+ AFC members.  While they all may not be the final decision makers, they perhaps have the greatest impact on the campus safety decision-making at our 28 community colleges across the state.  The networking and exposure that is available to you and your staff through this conference is unique and valuable.  The deadline for conference registration and sponsorship is June 15, 2017

Why Join Us at Conference?

We will have in attendance key decision makers from Florida’s 28 Community and State Colleges -- presidents, trustees, faculty, business officers, and professional staff. Our convention is the only event where you can meet and speak with representatives from all 28 colleges at a single venue.

Our expected number of attendees ranges from 450 – 600. We’ve averaged approximately 500 attendees over the last three years. Attendees at the AFC Annual Convention represent all facets of each College.  We will have all 28 of our College Presidents in attendance as well as V.P.’s of Business Affairs. The majority of our attendees are Career & Professional Staff, Administrative Staff and Faculty. In addition, there are 18 specialty groups called commissions that will be represented by the above listed attendees. These groups include the Faculty Commission, Student Development Commission, and the Administration Commission to name just a few.  A full list of our commissions can be here.

Our exhibit hall provides exposure, networking and visibility for your products and services. Our intimate set-up creates an experience that allows our attendees the time and opportunity to get to know our exhibitors and sponsors. Sponsorships provide an opportunity for expanded visibility and show that you actively support Florida’s Colleges, their employees and system.

We invite you to take a look at the exhibitor prospectus.  You will find many more opportunities to sponsor specific events as well as getting your name out to the 8,000+ members of AFC if you find yourself unable to attend in person.  Also, please note that electrical is included in the Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze Sponsorship packages.

A link will be provided for online registration at a later date

We are the Association for the employees of the twenty-eight Community and State Colleges in the state of Florida.  Most now offer 4-year degrees in addition to the normal 2-year degree programs. You can find a list of the colleges here.

Below is a brief profile of the expected audiences:

Trustees - Set policy and approve major purchases and benefit plans

Faculty - Request textbooks, classroom supplies, equipment, support materials and other instructional aids

Presidents & Administrative Staff - Administer the colleges on a day-to-day basis, recommend proposals to board of trustees and approve college purchases

Career and Professional Staff - Influential in decisions concerning purchases - they are the individuals actually using copy machines, fax machines, typewriters, computers, lawn mowers, electrical equipment, etc.
