Administration Commission Presents: Daytona State College's Academic Support Online and Ready to Help

Description: When the COVID-19 Pandemic forced higher education to move online, Daytona State College's academic support departments--the Library, Academic Support Center and Writing Center--were ready. Years of innovative collaboration provided the work processes and digital platforms for fully functional online academic support before face-to-face operations were even closed. The purpose of this session is to share information about these innovations, most importantly our live Chat available via each department’s website. The Chat offers students a mode of communication familiar and comfortable to them, while giving academic support staff another way to engage students and refer them to appropriate, relevant campus resources. Daytona State is online and ready to help.
