EXEMPLARY PRACTICE AWARD

The Exemplary Practice Award recognizes exemplary practices of Student Development practitioners and increases public understanding of and support for Student Personnel Services. Entries are judged at the Fall Convention and finalists present at the Spring Conference.

We are now accepting submissions for the 2017 Exemplary Practice Award

Finalists will present at the AFC Annual Conference in November, the winner will be announced at the Student Development Commission Conference in May 2017.

Cameron Hall Practitioner
The Cameron Hall Practitioner Award recognizes and honors a community college student affairs practitioner who has consistently demonstrated the highest levels of humanitarianism throughout their career.

Dr. Debra J. Hay Distinguished Service Award
The Dr. Debra J. Hay Distinguished Service Award recognizes those practitioners who are considered exceptionally effective and active in the AFC Student Development Commission.

Dr. Charles R. Dassance Student Development Advancement Award
The Dr. Charles R. Dassance Student Development Advancement Award honors individuals who have contributed outstanding services to the advancement of Student Development.

Student Leader Connection Award
The Student Leader Connection Award honors a student who has contributed to the work of student development activities on their campus.

Faculty Connection Award
The Faculty Connection Award honors a faculty member who has contributed to the work of the student development activities on their campus.
