Teaching and Learning with Compassion in the Classroom and Beyond: A Book Discussion on Compassionomics In this book discussion, participants will explore "Compassionomics"- the revolutionary scientific evidence that human connection matters. Multiple research sources point out that empathy and compassion are key to success in the world of health care, but these attributes are also relevant in our everyday lives. Compassion not only can save lives, but it can also improve relationships and ensure organizational success. Join us to examine how this has been documented in the health care industry and discuss how it can be relevant to us in higher education. Facilitated by: Donna Fishkin, Faculty, School of Health Sciences Dr. Kelly Hernandez, Academic Writing Coach For additional information, please contact Joan Roberts, [email protected].
