GenZ in CTE
Generation Z has changed the face of education in the classroom in many ways. This session will cover some basic information about Generation Z students and observations on how their needs impact the delivery of Career & Technical Education and Workforce Training. Through thoughtful discussion, we can determine best practices to serve them before the next generation is in our classrooms and workshops!

The presenter, Steven Crudup, is the Assistant Dean for Post-Secondary Adult Vocational & Workforce Programs at Hillsborough Community College. He is the current Region IV Representative for the WACE Commission and has been following the impacts of GenZ in not only the classroom, but adapting extra-curricular activities, leadership programs, and communication styles to best reach the range of generations in our cohorts today. This specific program was first presented at the AFC Annual Conference in November 2020.
