Thursday, August 06, 2020, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM EDT
Category: Webinar

Protesters are in the streets and demands for change abound. Over the last few months, there has been both a national and international movement against racial and social injustice. This series will discuss social justice from the past as well as look at the current state of affairs. Panelists will discuss the intersectionalities of race and social justice and identify and discuss ways to incorporate social justice frameworks in higher education. Take a deep dive into how the impact of implicit bias in the classroom affects students, faculty and the community at-large. Hear insights on strategies to address policies to support the retention of Black students, faculty, and staff. Join us as we begin this most important discussion.
