Your assistance is needed and greatly appreciated in soliciting items to use in the 2016 auction. Listed below are types of items that are needed. However, feel free to use your imagination and your creativity to come up with even better items.
Suggested donation items: Artwork, gift baskets, hotel stays, vacation packages, cameras, sports memorabilia, jewelry, e-readers, iPads, iPods, computers, books, gift cards, event tickets, wine, services, decorative items, etc. are all examples of great ideas, but I am sure that you can come up with many more great ideas. Big ticket items such as a cruise, computer, big screen television or vacation package would be great. We don’t expect you to purchase the big ticket item but if you know of someone that can donate this, please let me know. Click here for a printable flyer to share at your college/campus. Click here for sample letter when contacting businesses.
Don’t ever think your item is too small or too large to include. Items may be combined with other items to help create a gift basket or vacation package!! Here is the donation form to assist you when contacting businesses.

Do you work with suppliers who would like the opportunity to showcase what their company has to offer employees and institutions of the Florida College System? Extend them an invitation to participate in a wonderful opportunity to market their goods and services to the 550+ college personnel who represent a portion of the 8,000+ AFC members. Attendees at the AFC Annual Convention represent all facets of each College. We will have all 28 of our College Presidents in attendance as well as V.P.’s of Business Affairs. The majority of our attendees are Career & Professional Staff, Administrative Staff and Faculty. In addition, there are 15 specialty groups called commissions that will be represented by the above listed attendees. These groups include the Faculty Commission, Student Development Commission, and the Administration Commission to name just a few. A full list of our commissions can be found here. The networking and exposure that is available to them and their staff through this convention is unique and valuable. The deadline to register to exhibit and/or sponsor (to be included in the conference program) is October 21, 2016. Download the exhibitor/sponsor brochure for more information. Or see our Exhibit and Sponsor page for more information.
